Matt realized his passion for radio when he joined 95.3 GHQ.fm, the student-run, CHR station on UF campus his freshman year in Gainesville. He quickly worked his way up from general body member to on-air host, took on the role of Engagement Director, and was trusted with the responsibility of General Manager during his fourth and final year.

Promotional Strategist, 103.7 The Gator

Matt is tenacious in his pursuit for industry experience. In 2018, he was onboarded by his mentors to North Central Florida’s #1 for Country as the promotional strategist. He was charged with planning and executing contests and giveaways as well as coordinating station appearances throughout Alachua, Marion, and Gilchrist counties.

Producer, 98.1 ESPN Gainesville

Eager to learn every facet of the radio industry, Matt started picking up shifts as producer for The Tailgate with Jeff Cordozo and Pat Dooley on weekdays 4-6 P.M. He spent the afternoons screening calls, monitoring audio levels, posting to social, and, if he was lucky, he’d get the chance to join the live conversation.
